Hi Chic Shoppers,

Well it has been a very busy time for us here at Chic Kids. We have just received in some of the gorgeous new winter ranges that are available this season and we are sure you will love them just as much as we do.

The Bebe and Marquise ranges are again just adorable. Make sure you check out the pretty cord outfits in Marquise for the girls with co-ordinating tops and in Bebe the outfits are as usual divine including a very trendy boy's vest in an argyle pattern.

Baobab also has some funky outfits for the little ones in bright colours and a 'must have a look at' are the Books to Wear PJs'. They make us all wish we were little again!

We will also be adding a new kid on the block soon 'Fresh Baked' with some very funky outfits for both boys and girls.

Well it is that time of the year again. I have been to a couple of the larger trade shows in Sydney recently, Life In Style and the Reed Gift Fair, and had lots of fun drooling over the gorgeous new ranges of toys, gifts and accessories that all our lovely suppliers had on display.

Hello Chic Shoppers,

Yes, we are on the the final countdown! Many of your children will have their Advent Calendars handy and will happily tell you how many days to Christmas unaware of all the frantic planning, lists and shopping it takes to make that one day of the year a special and happy one for everyone, especially them.

We have just finished our toy sale and what a week that was! All of Chic Kids elves were run off their feet making sure all the orders were processed as quickly as possible.

Some of our more popular toys sold out altogether, especially the musical instruments, wooden toys and our gorgeous clocks, but not to fear we have jumped on the phone to our suppliers and we are expecting new stock in very soon. Just in time for those last minute Christmas orders. Please remember to allow time for delivery. Even using Express Post, for most items, doesn't always guarantee next day delivery if you are out of the designated areas.

We are very happy to announce the arrival of Bebe, Marquise and Mini Mermaid to Chic Kids. And what sweet babies they are.

Most people will be familiar with the Bebe and Marquise ranges. These two well known labels offer beautiful, quality garments that you will be happy to pass down from child to child.  You will be able to find these two fabulous new fashion ranges in both the Chic Babies categories and Chic Kids, Girls and Boys.

We are also stocking a small range of the Marquise Essentials which include soft and lovely singlets, rompers, tees and leggings. Perfect baby shower or newborn gifts.

Another exciting range that we have been looking forward to adding to our boutique is Mini Mermaid. These gorgeous one of a kind dresses are made and designed in Australia from vintage fabrics and lace and are simply scrumptious. We have three styles; The Trinity, The Princess and The Dolly. No one dress is alike so we advise you to be quick to grab your favourite.

Another small line that we will be offering is from the Le Bon range which includes two beautiful baby girl's outfits and a very cute baby boy's outfit. The Le Bon range is beautifully made and the outfits tend to have that very sweet 'Old Fashioned' look about them. Check them out and you will see what I mean. Especially the baby boy's smart sailor outfit! 

We also have a small range of Soda Kids for the little girls in stock. The 3/4 pants and matching coral top are divine. We hope to be ordering more of this very trendy range in the future.

Is it nearly Spring already? It is hard to imagine when the weather is still so nippy but next month will herald in Spring and I am sure everyone is looking forward to some warmer weather happening.

We will soon be adding some of our Spring/Summer fashions on the website from designers including Mini Mermaid, with some gorgeous and one of a kind little girl's dresses made from a beautiful range of vintage fabrics, Bebe, Marquise, Soda Kids, Moppit and Eternal Kids. Plus, some of you may have seen the Poppy dress from the Tickled Pink range by MayaDesigns featured in our editiorial in the Spring edition of My Child Magazine. We will have this is sizes 1-5 years and with each dress we are giving away a FREE matching reversible bag. We will also have a pretty little girl's one piece cossie from tkxi surf called Disco Fairy. Your little girl will be the belle of the beach scene in this cute number.

We have added some great new lines in Playtime and Mealtime Categories as well including Mamas & Papas, Kaloo and Crocodile Creek with more coming in October. For Christmas we have ordered a small number of tri-scooters with disco flashing lights in both blue and pink. I couldn't resist these funky scooters which are from the UK. They are designed especially for the little ones with two back tyres instead of one for greater balance and they fold up for easy storage and travel. They have multi-coloured disco lights on the platform that flash as the scooter is ridden. Very groovy! If you are interested in further details please drop us an email.

HELLO FROM CHIC KIDS 

As you may have read in my January Blog we are attending the trade fairs this month and I am hoping to add some fun new ranges to the Chic Kids website. But in the meantime I thought I would just give you a little more info on some of the products that we have in our boutique at the present.

Aside from the great range of designer kids' clothing we also stock some fun toys as well as accessories and a lovely range of gifts for the newborn and baby showers.

Our range of toys include the colourful and popular Babyboo toys. Amongst MY favourites are the Fairy Dolls, very cute, and for 'that something different gift for the newborn' the cuddly Blanket Friends, which come in four different styles. Also, Baby GUND have some really funky soft toys, including the very popular 'Say Cheese' cameras in blue and pink that make a shutter sound, some cute Taggies including Shaggie Taggie, the loveable dog, and our Asthma Friendly range. Safe for kids with allergies as well as asthma.

Our gift line has some great ideas for the newborn baby, baby showers and first birthday. Our First Birthday bears, for boys and girls, by GUND are adorable with their little embroidered party hats and our other GUND gifts include pretty 'It's a boy and It's a girl' ceramic photo frames and our 'Thank Heaven for Little Boys and Girls' bears. In the book section you will also find the GUND brag books which are great gifts for the proud parents and grandparents.

Oh, and I can't leave out our gorgeous range of Aromababy gift packs. Ideal for newborns and babies with skin problems such as eczema. All my grandchildren suffer from mild eczema and the Aromababy range has been very beneficial in treating this. Some of the gift packs have the small trial size products which are ideal for the new mum who wants to try a variety of the Aromababy range and they are also perfect for taking on holiday. 

With so many great products, I cannot review them all in one newsletter so pop on in and have a browse. When you have a spare moment, when the kids are tucked up in bed or off at school, kick back, relax and let you fingers do the walking for gift ideas for family and friends.
